Example Trip:

Day 1                Europe / San Jose

Upon arrival in San Jose, transfer to hotel Marriot Los Suenos Golf Resort in Herradura Beach for a 3 night stay. Snacks, juices and local beer available during transfer. Dinner at 'Hoyo 19'.

   

Day 2                Catamaran Cruise to Tortuga Island

Board the Blue Marlin Catamaran and set sail to Tortuga Island. Lunch is served on board along with an open bar and snacks throughout the day. Optional activities here include sea kayaking, paddle boats, snorkelling, swimming and hiking on the Island itself. Dinner at specialist local seafood restaurant, El Pelicano.



Day 3                Golf Tournament

Fun Golf day and tournament at the hotel's La Iguana Golf course. This course is nestled alongside an exotic Costa Rican rainforest and offers stunning ocean views. Sunset cocktails and dinner follow at Villa Caletas which is a small luxury hotel with a mix of Victorian and Hellenistic designs set on a cliff offering breathtaking views.

 

Day 4                4X4 Safari- Crocodile & Mangrove Adventure

Head towards San Jose via a non-traditional route on a 4X4 Safari with winding roads, uphill, downhill and rough terrain before arriving at the Jungle River Dock for a boat tour of the endangered tropical mangrove. Delicious Carribean lunch served on board whilst looking out at the variety of birds and wildlife, not to mention the Crocs!
On arrival in San Jose, check into the Costa Rica Marriott for a 3 night stay followed by welcome reception and dinner at the hotel's courtyard restaurant.

 

Day 5                White-water Rafting

Experience class II-III rapids on an all-action full day white-water rafting excursion at Reventazon River with lunch provided. Dinner at the Costa Rica Marriott.



Day 6                Full Day Traditional Costa Rican Tour

Early morning start visiting the famous award-winning Doka Coffee plantation & Mill, and enjoy a coffee tasting session. Continue to Poas Volcano and walk right up to its crater which is 1320 meters in diameter and sits at a height of 2300 meters. Complete the day with a visit to La Paz Waterfall Gardens where a traditional lunch is served, followed by an exhilarating hike through trails that lead to 5 different platforms giving spectacular views of La Paz's river waterfalls.

 

Day 7                San Jose / Europe

Transfer to the airport for flight home.
