Combine a stay in historic Havana with a beach stay in Varadero. Situated less than 100 miles east of Havana, Varadero’s coastline has warm, turquoise water and some of the best pristine white sand beaches in the country.

Trinidad & Sugar Mill Valley

Visit the nearby Sugar Mill Valley with the remains of numerous sugar refineries that once gave such splendour to the area.

Viñales Valley and its unique string of rounded limestone Mogotes Mountains where you will find the world’s finest tobacco leaves.

Santiago de Cuba

Experience the musical tradition of exotic Santiago de Cuba with its “New Orleans” atmosphere. A melting pot of cultures set in front of a sweeping bay at the foothills of the Sierra Maestra Mountains on the south east coast of Cuba.

Beaches and Coastline

Go snorkelling and enjoy all the water activities the country offers along the coastline.

Visit Cienfuegos, “the pearl of the south”, and admire the natural beauty of its bay and its French inspired colonial buildings. Enjoy a classic Cuban Mohito cocktail at the Moorish inspired Palacio de Valle on the peninsula Punta Gorda the former residential area with its typical wooden houses.

Get away from it all on the tiny paradise island of Cayo Levisa.  With more than 20 diving spots, it is a perfect location for everyone who loves water sports and underwater worlds.

When to go

Cuba has a warm and tropical climate with two distinct seasons. The best time to travel is from December to May when you will have dry and sunny days with temperatures between 22 - 28°C.

The rainy season is from June to October when it can be hot and humid although it is worth remembering that during the wet season the rain tends to come in a short shower in the afternoon and you will still have plenty of sunshine during the rest of the day.

The hurricane season runs from August until middle of October but this can vary from year to year throughout the Caribbean region.
